Ford has responded to email recipients who inquired about a special offer that they received via email stating that they can purchase a 2010 Ford Fusion Hybrid for the low, low price of just $15,500.
It seems too good to be true and indeed it is according to Ford. The email is spam and lists a special offer to 500 lucky buyers. The buyers, according to the email, could purchase a brand new Fusion Hybrid for about half off the list price, but the email is a scam.
The email is widespread at this point and Ford advises anyone that receives the email simply delete and do not open any attachments. The message comes from a sender who appears to be a Ford sales manager, but Ford has confirmed that this message is not from anyone linked to the company.
For anyone who has received the email and dreamed of getting a half off Ford Fusion Hybrid, sorry but the base price is still $27,270.
