Fusion Hybrid 1,000 Mile Challenge
Vehicle valuation company, NADA Appraisal Guides, published a list of five ‘hidden gems of the auto industry’ today. The Buick Enclave, Pontiac G5, Volkswagen CC, Lincoln MKS, and our favorite, Ford Fusion Hybrid rounded out the list.
NADA describes the Fusion Hybrid as ‘easy on the planet, easy on the eyes and absolutely loaded with technology,’ giving special recognition to Ford’s SmartGauge with EcoGuide, the voice activated navigation system and the SYNC system. The Fusion’s best in class fuel economy, reasonably low starting price and feature availability impressed the appraisal company.
This comes as no surprise to us, as the Fusion Hybrid reviews have been overwhelmingly positive and our own impressions of the technology and the cabin are no different. Coupled with the Escape Hybrid, which has also garnered significant praise (particularly on this website), Ford appears poised to make an impact in the hybrid vehicle market.
If only they could get some love from the President when he talks about the merits of foreign automakers’ alternative fuel programs.
