The drumbeat of anticipation is getting louder ahead of the unveiling of the new Nissan EV this coming weekend.
In the midst of all this electric excitement some articles were published claiming Nissan wont be unveiling one, but three EVs.
This derived from a report in Japan’s Best Car Magazine, and we noted it here.
According to Nissan spokesperson Katherine Zachary, “that’s incorrect.”
“We will unveil 1 EV model on Aug. 2 in Japan,” she says.
Perhaps some of this confusion is related to Renault’s plans which may be different than Nissan’s. Either way, if this car takes off it certainly wouldn’t surprise us if Nissan eventually winds up offering other electric car models as well.
